Location of Dhamma Vatika Centre
Dhamma Vatika is situated at Alyali Village, located around 3.5 Km from Palghar Railway station. Palghar is approx. 100 km from Mumbai by road, and is a major station on the Western Railway, well connected with the Mumbai Suburban Railway as well as Express trains. Palghar is a large industrial & agricultural town and the headquarters of the Palghar District.
Getting to Dhamma Vatika – By Train:
Palghar is on the extended Western Railway Mumbai Suburban Line. All local trains on the Churchgate – Dahanu route halt at Palghar on both up and down routes. Shuttle trains between Virar and Dahanu halt at Palghar as well. There are many scheduled Local and Shuttle trains between Churchgate, Andheri, Borivali, Virar and other stations on the Western Railway Mumbai Suburban Line and Dahanu, on an average at least once an hour. Many major Shuttle/Passenger trains on the Mumbai – Gujarat – Rajasthan – New Delhi route also stop at Palghar.
From Palghar Railway Station, Dhamma Vatika is just 3.5 km away. Buses heading towards Satpati Village will halt near the centre. The bus stop is at Alyali Panchayat Office. Autorickshaws are also available from the station to take you to the centre. At present, the autos charge about ₹ 70 - ₹ 80, and they will drop you inside the centre. Share Autos are available at ₹ 25 per passenger, and they will drop you at Alyali Cricket Ground / Alyali Panchayat Office, from where the centre is at a walking distance. Signboards at the Cricket Ground will guide you to the centre.
Getting to Dhamma Vatika – By Road:
Palghar is connected to National Highway 48 via the Mastan Naka Junction at Manor town. NH 48 is known as Western Express Highway within Mumbai and also the Mumbai-Ahmedabad Highway within this stretch. Dhamma Vatika is about 24 KM from the Mastan Naka Highway Junction at Manor.
After entering Palghar using the Palghar-Manor Road and crossing the Railway Flyover, signboards from Ambedkar Chowk will guide you to Dhamma Vatika.

Getting to Dhamma Vatika – By Air:
The nearest Airport to Dhamma Vatika is Mumbai. Dhamma Vatika is about 3-4 hours by road from the Airport Domestic and International Terminals. From the airport, you can come by road using the Mumbai – Ahmedabad Highway and turn towards Palghar from Manor as detailed in the section above.
In order to reach in time for the course, your flight should land in Mumbai before 12 noon on the course starting day.
For courses that end in the morning, you should schedule your flight only after 1 PM on the course ending day to give you enough time to reach the airport from the centre and complete the boarding formalities.
For courses that end in the afternoon, you should schedule your flight only after 10 PM on the course ending day to give you enough time to reach the airport from the centre and complete the boarding formalities.
